In a day and age when most music is synthesized and full of vulgarity, there is a light shining in and around the world. "Cavanah a singer dedicated to Funk, Rock and Soul. Born Lenore Irvin July 1970 in the heart of North Philadelphia Soul, Cavanah is the daughter of "Philly Soul's" living legend, Bobby Love. And here is where it all began for this young musical prodigy. Even as a little girl, she watched and understood all the ups and downs of the music business her father went through during his career. The School Boys, The Ballads, and Free Sprit were just some of the many groups and band member changes she learned her father had gone through. Free Spirit was her favorite! Her father Bobby Love started the group and wrote the theme song, "I'm Gonna Love You" for the Philadelphia 76'ers. Some of her many musical influences are Honey Bee's, a North Philly female group, a spin off from Free Spirit, and the Three Degrees. Although her father molded her vocal technique and stage presence, like most singers she began her singing career in the "Church". And there's nothing more comforting than music that touches the soul." Throughout her continuous journey for the truth, she became heavily influenced by "Uncle Jam" himself, George Clinton. Cavanah believes the funk encompasses all genres of music.
